Led by your coach, this session offers you the chance to learn about the health benefits of cold exposure and the recommended practices to adapt to the cold environment.
Cold yoga improves body tone and health, enhances your understanding of thought movements, and aids in emotional regulation. The practice also encourages positive thinking and helps maintain a stable mind throughout the session.
Utilize breath activation, breath holding, and full lung practices to encourage the rise of internal heat. Engage in muscular contractions associated with sequences and postures suitable for winter conditions, and employ meditative techniques to sustain mental stability.
This session is an excellent opportunity to observe the fluctuations of your thoughts and test the power of your mind. Work with friction, rubbing, and tapping to stimulate the body’s meridians, leading to optimal relaxation and calmness.
Yoga mats are provided. The activity starts in Courchevel. Bring soft, comfortable clothes suited to mountain conditions, layered clothing, good mountain boots, swimsuit (two-piece for women), warm blankets or sleeping bag, snowshoes (depending on snow conditions).
